The song “When The Deep Purple Falls” by Nemo Tempo & April Stevens is one of my favorite tunes. It was a huge hit way back when on WCBS-FM during their original golden oldies era. Followed by the song “Deep Purple” from 1939 by Guy Lombardo & His Royal Canadians, great classic song, too. A much older oldie but a goodie. Not to be confused with the rock band Deep Purple on the other hand, lol.
