I still like the song. But I heard it in heavy rotation for three months, while in Miami Beach. Then travelled with my parents to other places during the summer and heard Get Down Tonight, for another three months.
Also, about two years after K.C. And Sunshine Band moved on I went to my Senior Prom in high school. After the parties, I took my prom date for drinks at the Wreck Bar in The Castaways. It stayed open every night until 5AM. Drinking age was 18 in 1977.
