Hi all, Bob, & Snoop. Hope all is well. So I’m another one who is going along with Steven Green with his suggested “Rock” theme for tonight’s last hour feature. I side with him for all the songs he’s already suggested, especially since many of those songs on his list are my favorites, so those are ones I’d suggest as well. But here are also more songs of my own I’m suggesting as listed below. All of which are songs with “Rock” in the title (or they can also be songs by groups that have the word “Rock” in their name as well).

Here it goes:

- “Keep On Rockin’ In The Free World” by Neil Young

- “Rock Steady” (The versions by Aretha Franklin, The Whisperer, Bad Company, & any other version of this song as well as any other song with this title that’s unrelated to the aforementioned three suggested here that you might have)

- “Rockin’ Robin” (The versions by Bobby Day, Michael Jackson, amongst any other existing version of this song by anyone else that you have)

- “Rockaway Beach” by the Ramones

- “Rock N’ Roll High School” - also by the Ramones

- “(We’ve Got To Rock On To) Electric Avenue” by Eddy Grant

- “Rock & Roll Fantasy” (by Bad Company, the Kinks, & any other version of this song as well as any other unrelated song using this title that you have).

- “Rocky Mountain Way” by Joe Walsh

- “R.O.C.K. In The USA” by John Mellencamp

- “Rock & A Hard Place” by the Rolling Stones

- “Rock Around The Clock” by Bill Haley & His Comets

- “Jailhouse Rock” by Elvis Presley

- “Rockin' Pneumonia and the Boogie Woogie Flu” – Huey "Piano" Smith (1957)

- “Rock the Joint” – Bill Haley & The Saddlemen (1952)

- “Rock-A-Beatin' Boogie" – Bill Haley & His Comets (1955)

- “Rockin' at the Philharmonic" – Big T Tyler (1957)

- “Rock & Roll Soul” by Grandfunk Railroad

- “Rock-A-Hula Baby” by Elvis Presley

- “I Am A Rock” by Simon & Garfunkel

- “Rock ‘N’ Roll Woman” by Buffalo Springfield

- “Rock N’ Roll” by The Velvet Underground

- “Rock N’ Roll” by Led Zeppelin

- “Crocodile Rock” by Elton John

- “Rock N’ Roll All Nite” by KISS

- “Rock On” By David Essex

- “Rock And Roll Heaven” by The Righteous Brothers

- “Rock Me Gently” by Andy Kim

- “Rock The Boat” by the Hues Corporation

- “It’s Only Rock ‘N’ Roll (But I Like It)” by the Rolling Stones

- “Life Is A Rock (But The Radio Rolled Me) by the Reunion

- “Rockin’ Pneumonia And The Boogie Woogie Flu” by Johnny Rivers

- “We Will Rock You” by Queen

- “Like A Rock” by Bob Seger (Which I still remember was commonly used back from 20-25 or so years ago in a long forgotten series of Jeep car tv commercials, including for the Jeep Grand Cherokees, amongst other Jeep cars I can recall from memory, lol).

- “Rock With You” By Michael Jackson

- “I Love Rock N’ Roll” (The hit version from 1981 or so by Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, & the original version from 1975 by the Arrows)

- “Rock You Like A Hurricane” by the Scorpions

- “Rock The Casbah” by the Clash

- “Rock Of Ages” by Def Leppard

- “Rock This Town” by the Stray Cats

- “Rock Me Tonight” by Billy Squier

- “Rock N’ Roll Is King” by Electric Light Orchestra

- “I Wanna Rock” by Twisted Sister

- “For Those About To Rock (We Salute You)” by AC/DC

For some more older songs from the 1930s & 1940’s if we happen to have any of the following listed below:

- “Rock And Roll” from 1934 by The Boswell Sisters

- “Rock It For Me” from 1938 by Chuck Webb & Ella Fitzgerald

- “Rock Me” from 1938 by Sister Rosetta Thorpe

- “Rockin’ In Rhythm” from 1930 by Duke Ellington

- “Rockin’ The Boat” - A common early blues/swing tune (in various different versions)

If/when any other song with the word “Rock” in the title (or in the name of the group that any considered song in mind is by) pops up in mind, I will list them in follow ups to this post, as well as in new posts. And if anyone here as any songs in mind to fit this title that you’d like to add, feel free to list them in the comments though follow ups down below in response.
