Hi all, Bob, Snoop. Hope all is well. So I know Friday last week we did a 5th hour feature with all songs that have the word ROCK in the title, & you Bob, mentioned on the air after selecting that as our 5th hour theme that night that you were thinking about doing a 5th hour theme this week with all songs that have ROLL in the title. I guess because it would make sense where if we've already done a ROCK theme last week, then we should certainly do a ROLL theme this week, since we ended up not doing a 2-in-1 ROCK N’ ROLL theme in one night like we also could’ve done too, so why not. Here are a list of songs ideal for the 5th hour ROLL theme:
- “Let The Good Times Roll” by Shirley & Lee
- “Let The Good Times Roll” by the Cars
- “Roll With It” by Steve Winwood
- “Roll Me Away” by Bob Seger
- “Let Me Roll It” by Paul McCartney & Wings
- “Still Rock N’ Roll To Me” by Billy Joel (Which was also good for last week’s 5th hour ROCK theme)
- “Rock N’ Roll All Nite” by KISS (also good for last week’s 5th hour ROCK theme)
- “Like A Rolling Stone” by Bob Dylan (And the version from the 90s by the Rolling Stones if you have their version too)
- “Papa Was A Rolling Stone” by the Temptations
- “Roll Over Beethoven” by Chuck Berry
- “Shake, Rattle and Roll” by Billy Haley & His Comets
- “Train Kept A-Rollin’” (The original version from 1951 by Tiny Bradshaw, & the more popular hit version from 1956 by Johnny Burnette & The Rock N’ Roll Trio)
- “Rollin’ Stone” by Muddy Waters
- “Rock N’ Roll Is Here To Stay” by Danny & The Juniors
- “Old Time Rock N’ Roll” by Bob Seger (Also ideal for last week’s 5th hour theme)
- “Rollin’ Home” by various artists.
- The version of “Shake, Rattle & Roll” by Elvis Presley
- The version of “Rock and Roll Music” by the Beatles
- The version of “Roll Over Beethoven” by the Beatles
- “So You Want To Be A Rock N’ Roll Star” by the Byrds
- Both known versions of “Proud Mary” by Credence Clearwater Revival, & the version by Ike & Tina Turner (Even though the word “roll” is not in the title itself, the song is still famous for the iconic line in the chorus “Rollin’, Rollin’, Rollin’ on the river.)
- “Rock N’ Roll” by Led Zeppelin
- “It’s Only Rock N’ Roll (But I Like It)” by the Rolling Stones
- “Rock and Roll” by the Velvet Underground

And let’s really get this show on Friday night ROLLING (Rockin’ & Rollin’ that is) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
