Hi Bob, Snoop, & everyone else. Hope all is well. For my requests tonight, may I hear a double play of the Beatles, with their songs "Let It Be" (The album version of the song produced by Phil Spector), & "Hey Jude"? Thank you in advance!
Here's the reason behind these requests, they are in honor of the fact that my family & I will be getting up, out, & ready to head into NYC (I think by 6 AM) this upcoming Sunday morning on April 26th, because that's where & when week-day afternoon jock Ken Dashow of the local New York Classic Rock station, Q104.3 will be hosting his weekly Sunday morning Beatles tribute show, called "Breakfast With The Beatles" at the Cutting Room. It's a show Ken usually hosts early every Sunday mornings at the station's home studio in their corporate building, but occasionally hosts it live in the Cutting Room where listeners would enter on the station's website to win their way in. We were very fortunate to actually enter to win & actually got in.
Long live the Beatles, Ken Dashow, everyone else at Q1043 & the whole station itself for everything they do to keep all of their listeners' day going on a daily basis. Now if only they can redeem their faith in Scott Muni's promise by restoring the Beatles block they always used to kickstart the 12 PM hour with every weekday for the last 30 or so years until they abruptly & mistakenly got rid of it 2 months ago!
