I mentioned my little project to Bob earlier, and he said I could post about it here.
It is an 8-part video series intended for younger Oldies beginners, I don't know how many of you would be interested in this since we're already a deep Oldies gang here. I wanted to also make a contribution to the Oldies history effort Bob, Rich Appel, Don Tandler, other New Jersey and San Francisco DJs are doing.
Episode one of this one-off eight part video series "An Introduction to Deep Diving into Rock-n-Roll Music of the 60s and 70s (and Some 80s)" is posted on Youtube today. New videos will be posted every two weeks, ending in August. It's an introduction to this music for those too young to have experienced it in-depth on the radio, back when radio was really good. I talk about albums, lost hits, and where to listen, Episides are 30 minutes.
