What we’re listening to right now. And the possible plan for today’s show including my first couple of tonight’s requests.

Hi everyone. It’s been a while since I last logged in and posted anything here, but I do have a few things to share as to what’s been going on for the last couple of weeks and I guess the plans for tonight. First off, I want to once again thank you Bob Radil, for playing my requested birthday tunes on the show here a couple of weeks ago with Birthday songs by the Beatles and Stevie Wonder, and making that as a part of my plan to get the celebration for my birthday started by a week early and making that possible by playing the tunes. I gladly celebrated my birthday at a couple of different restaurants last week, one being the restaurant I have in the lobby area of my own building, and the other one being a great Mexican spot that I always loved since I was a kid, being On the Border Mexican Grill. Secondly, I’ve been enjoying every minute of Tom Natoli’s tribute show for Bob Shannon during his days, and years, on WCBS-FM since the very beginning between right now today, and yesterday, and will continue to tune in for the next couple of days for as long as Tom goes on with it. I hope everyone here is enjoying it as well. And what I do want to say regarding the Bob Shannon tribute that we’re hearing right now is that I always loved Bob Shannon back as a kid and I always used to love tuning in for him whenever I could on WCBS-FM and I’m very thankful that I was able to a lot of times between the late 90s (or at least from either 1999 or 2000 when I first moved to Jersey and came back to the NY Tri-State area with my parents after we spent a few years living in the Washington DC area until then and being only several years old at the time), until about 2011 or 2012 when he left the station and at the time when I was only in my last year of junior high school at either 13 or 14 years old. Thirdly, I have a couple of requests I was wondering that I could post and include here ahead of time for tonight’s 60s-70s show? Because I would like to hear or least have played tonight a couple of songs anywhere within the first three hours of the show being “This Is It” by Kenny Loggins, and “Ricky Don’t Loose that Number” by Steely Dan? And thanks !!!
