I'm not sure how many artists had to wait as long as Joni for a hit as a performer after having so many as a songwriter, "Both Sides Now", "Chelsie Morning", two hit covers of "Woodstock", and the Neighborhood cover of "Big Yellow Taxi'. "You Turn Me On (I'm A Radio)" was her first top 40 hit. Then she had a bunch for a short time, "Big Yellow Taxi" was finally a hit in the live version.
