Glad to hear that you were grooving to, or rather boogie-ing to, my requests by the Chordettes, Matt. And yes, that would be an ideal theme for the 5th hour one of these days. Bob was proposing a new rule a couple of weeks ago about making the 5th hour theme be all music from a specific focused time in the 1960s or 70s on the first Friday of every month. I'm thinking that for the first Friday of this coming October he should do a 5th hour theme with all 50s music instead, and maybe perhaps the first Friday of every month too if that were possible, unless he perhaps wants to mix things up in terms of the year and decade of music for that. And I guess I was the one that started the whole 'Lollipop' song trend by requesting the tune of that exact title by the Chordettes, one of my favorite childhood tunes by them alongside Mr Sandman by the way.
