** The 60s70s Show **
Tonight, and EVERY Friday, 6PM to 11PM, maybe longer, Eastern USA time on Pop Gold Radio and the 60s70s+ Channel.
(The pre-show is on as I post this.)
It's an oldies-ish show for those serious about the music but don't take it too serious.
Everything from the big hits, forgotten mid-chart hits, to rare stuff most have never heard before.
Stuff *you* may remember, but other shows are clueless about.
Requests are encouraged.
Tonight's "Mystery Act" is a well known act that had many major hits, doing a well known song. This was NOT one of their hits.
Tonight's "Sing-a-Long Song of the Week" is the instrumental track from a major Motown hit that was a MAJOR departure from their classic 1960s sound.
This week's "Beatles' Rarity of the Week" is an earlier take of a well known LP cut that features George Harrison.
We should have time for an "Instant Request" or two.
