First off I want to share that while I was out and about Friday night last week celebrating my Birthday, I had such a wonderful day. I celebrated at a local Colombian restaurant right by me at the next town over from where I live. With great food, drinks, atmosphere, friendly staff, music, etc. Plus the way they help contribute to celebrating my birthday with some scrumptious sweet treats/desserts and their specialty birthday song, which was also how they contributed to celebrating many other guest's birthday that night was purely grateful !!!!!!! It's a place that's less than even 10 minutes from where I live, and a local place I've had on my list that I had on my agenda to try for a while. Also technically continued celebrating my birthday seeing my cousin's band at a venue in his hometown in Yonkers, NY the night right after along with several of our other local friend's bands from the area's local scene the night right after.
Also some other good news, we just had a technician for our previous internet provider, Verizon Fios, come by early this morning to assist us in uninstalling that janky internet service we've unfortunately had to deal with the hassles of from Optimum for the last 2 years, and re-install the better working, near-all-flawless, more reliable internet service from Verizon Fios. I would hope we get the same exact reliable service from Verizon as we've always had before the switch from them 2 years ago. And hopefully, we have no more headaches of constant issues like what we've had with Optimum up until now.
I also wanted to add that for the least couple of days, I have been streaming Pop Gold Radio the entire day to hear our friend Tom Natoli with his tribute to the late and great Bob Shannon and WCBS-FM, and will continue streaming that for the next couple of days for the next & last 2 parts of that tribute. Something that he now airs on Thanksgiving weekend every year for the last 2 years since Bob Shannon's unfortunate passing back in the summer of 2 years ago. It's a great tribute to honor him, the memories of him, and his legacy. But the fun clearly never ends there, because it still goes on with you guys at the 60s 70s site. So let's all get things rolling !!!!!!!!!!!
