Yes, I do remember you stating that very well. And I also do remember that pie chart. WCBS-FM at that time had everything all figured out in terms of what to play to align with their intended format. Mainly oldies, and a couple of what were then current hits that were top charted songs every hour. Being that this was back in the 70s, that was back when music was still good, even the music that came out during that decade being current hits at the time. Any such hits played on WCBS-FM then were what they called "Future Gold". Clearly, by this point, those songs that were "Future Gold" then, are now oldies/classic hit, and timeless ones, too.
