Regarding what you were saying just now Bob about Steve Winwood's hit song, WCBS-FM, & when the song was played often on that station, the song "Roll With It" became a stellar hit amongst it's initial release in general. I do remember hearing it here & there way back when on WCBS-FM back as a kid as well. I can imagine Ron Lundy occasionally playing it on his show there, too. I heard it on the station during their golden years when it was still the Golden 101.1 as an actual oldies station. Then when they returned to the air in the summer of 2007 from the abrupt & un-called-for 2005 format flip, the revived CBS-FM kicked things off that day in the summer of 2007 with Bob Shannon. And Bob wrapped up his show for the day with that song by Steve Winwood before the following djs had taken over for their shows as scheduled then. I still have all the recordings of the station from that entire day too, especially that part in one of them where Steve's song is played.
