Hi everyone, Graeme here. So I had an issue earlier this past Friday night with my internet connection that suddenly occurred just as soon after I was typing out my first couple of requests for earlier in the show as I usually do, which was right when I went to submit them which is why they never even went through, being just about 5 minutes prior to the show.
As a result, due to the situation I had Friday night with my internet going out, I was unfortunately not able to tune in at all for the show, or participate in posting any messages or interact with any of you here in the Listener Lounge at all for that matter. The issue with my internet going out was the result of our home modem suddenly dying out of nowhere.
We were unfortunately not able to have the modem restored or have our internet running like normal under any other form with the issue taken into our own hands. Even though we had to wait from that point until just this afternoon today as a result, we thankfully however had a technician that works for our internet provider, optimum, come by this afternoon and address the issue by replacing our modem and therefore having to re-create our home Wifi network all over again from scratch, with a new name for our network, password, etc. as a result.
My internet connection has now since been successfully and fully restored, up and running, fully working again, and hopefully now entirely smooth once and for all. Sorry to have missed you guys because of all that mess, but now that it's been addressed I hope to be able to get back with you guys again next Friday and my internet runs smoothly by that time onward.
